I really enjoyed the "book club" at the end of the day. It was a relaxing and open way to bring closure to everything that we discussed and wrote about today. I love talking to other teachers about their own experiences within their careers and buildings. It helps me see a different perspective and to know that sometimes I'm not the only one who might think a certain way. It helps me to connect and evaluate what I do in my classroom and to think about what I might be able to bring in in the future.
I agree! Beautifully articulated.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed our book club as well. I always seem to tick someone off no matter what I do, but I supposed that is my lot in life. We had a good discussion about early childhood development and how the little ones are different from the older kids.
ReplyDeleteI, too feel like I'm on overload, so don't feel like you are the only one. Like Sherrie told us in our book club meeting, you can do anything for four weeks. Hang in there!
Yes, brain overload. I don't know about your group but the time seemed to go so quickly. We could have talked a lot longer about the Newkirk.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jumbled, too, Lena! Have a great evening.
ReplyDeleteGood times at our book club as well. I enjoyed bouncing ideas off other educators and learning new insights!
